It is not important if the receiving Member has activated the
Purse with Ecu Currency you are about the transfer, this sub
account will automatically get activated.
You can only transfer funds from the Purses that have a
positive balance on. The minimum amount you can transfer is one
hundreds of whatever currency you are transferring, i.e. one
penny, one euro cent, one kopek, one centimes etc. The maximum
amount that you can transfer at one time is Ecu USD 10,000 or
the equivalent of that amount in other Ecu Currencies. You can
make additional transfers.
The fixed Transfer fee is $0.20, regardless of the amount and
the type of currency you are transferring. The Transfer fee is
charged in USD. Make sure to have at least 20 pennies in your
USD Purse when making a transfer. Fifty percent of all Transfer
Fees are paid to the Referrer of the member that sets up the
transaction.
You can determine who is paying for the Ecu Transfer. By
default it will be the recipient that pays the Transfer fee.
However, the two parties can arrange between themselves to share
the fee 50/50 whereas the sender pays the Transfer fee. In case
of the last two options the Ecu Transfer can only be successful
if the recipient has sufficient USD in his/her Ecu USD Purse. In
the event this is not the case the system will automatically
apply the fee to the recipient.
When setting up a Transfer you can send a message to the
recipient in the Payment Description. For your own records you
can add a reminder in the Memo field. This Memo message will not
be visible to the recipient.
After the Transfer is successfully processed the system will
show a confirmation page on your screen. This message also
contains an order number. This order number is the same number
the recipient will see on his screen.
